Tales of Destiny II/Eternia - Green Flashes

I'm not sure what's causing it (something under Video I assume), but whenever a battle starts, the swirly transition swoosh glitches out and flashes randomly before the battle begins, and whenever I end the battle, the entire screen turns green for a moment, before cutting to Reid in his victory pose.

I assume it has something to do with the slow down effect? Has anyone else encountered this problem? It really robs combats of their satisfaction. How do I fix this?

Tetris Plus (No Music)

When I launch the game, I can hear sound effects just fine (such as Jaleco logo and the voice saying "Tetris Plus"), yet the CD songs do not play at all. I have no clue how to fix this and am really new to emulation, so please tell me in the most baby-proof way to fix this.
And no, although I do own a physical copy of the CD, I cannot use it, as my computer does not have a disk drive.

I've signed up so that I may ask for help in regards to my issue.

I've finally got the game to work on my emulator, however the sadness began when starting actual game play finding there is absolutely ZERO background music though there is sound effects, cutscene music and the like.

I'm running ePSXe 2.0.5 on Windows 10
Video: Pete's Open GL Driver 1.77
Sound: ePSXe SPU Core

I am curious if anyone's got a fix for this/suggestion for a plugin that works/might as well tell me off and go buy a...

Final Fantasy Tactics -- Proposition (Report Job) Glitch

First things first, I am still getting this problem without any mod and only using the base ISO. Still, I am hoping that someone in here has heard of this issue happening to someone else before.

Any time I go to click on report job for any proposition, the character text box pops up and then instantly disappears without showing anything. The game then sits with the music playing indefinitely until I shut it down.

In addition, when characters cast spells, the text box that sometimes pops up...

issue with some textures looking right in FF7

game works completely fine but I've been having some issues with some textures showing properly plus some other graphical issues and it's been driving me nuts. I will show screenshots

So right now I'm at the point where I need to pick up a Tree Gem from Giles' house so I can go play with monkeys, however, every time I try to enter the house, the music drops out as if I'm moving out of the town and I end up on top of some trees. The same thing happens with Wendell's house, though I land on a spot out of town where I can walk. I will admit that I did use the gameshark code for unlimited herbs, in-case using that may have been a trigger. I tried both v1.0 and v1.1 isos and the...

FF9 Backgrounds stretched

Hello,

I encountered an error in FF9. All backgrounds / 2D-Tiles are stretched. In battles or menu there are no problems.

The paths are in right positions, effects too (torch-lights, waterfalls).

so far I tried
- Bios SCPH1001.bin
- Bios SCPH7003.bin
- Petes
- OpenGL
- different resolutions, including different aspect ratio
- different settings
- Compatibility mode
- run as admin
- epsxe 2.0.5

I created .toc-Images with Brasero-Software...

I tried to change stretching mode but didnt help.

Another thing I noticed is that if there are enemies far away in the map, it distorts the textures on the screen when the enemies move around.

3D models flickering a LOT

As the title say, i'm having this strange issue that's still in other emulator than epsxe
I was using epsxe 2.0.5 and tried to configure all video plugins (including the tweak) and nothing, tried pcsx-r-PGPX and nothing either, was using lately retroarch with bettle PSX HW (that have PGPX) and the problem still, i'm not sure what is causing it, can you guys help me?

epsXe worked fine .. until i had to change the disk. Change the disk in the game is displayed, I press Esc and then go to File -> Change disc, select the correct ISO and all, the game screen appears and still on the disc disc screen. I waited a few minutes and then tried to run -> Continue but the game was left at the disc burning screen in the game. Any help?

I'm having a problem in the game Legend of Legaia, every time boss Xain uses the Terio Punch hit the game closes and the following message appears, unknown upcode 53455170 at 00000004 (

ePSXe 2.0.5 and Dino Crisis cheats

Looked through several pages and used the search function but couldn't find anything regarding the issue I seem to have.

I use the ePSXe 2.0.5 with the Pet's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 video plugin and evenhave the PEC in the background (though bit unneeded considering the built in cheats).

The Dino Crisis version I use is the USA V1.1

Legend of Dragoon game play sped up 10x

So not sure what to do with this one but the opening cinematic looks great, but things go off even at the main menu, where all the sounds are sped up, jumbled, and not in sync with your actions also the intro replays after maybe 8sec. But if you are quick you can start the game, once again the cinematic looks great but once you get to the in engine game play everything is sped way up maybe 10 times or so.

Screenshot issues - EPSXE

Evening all,

So I've recently installed EPSXE again as I fancied going through Legend of Dragoon in the best graphics possible.

The issue I'm having is with trying to capture screenshots, as both methods seem to give less than impressive results.

F8 saves bitmap images in the snap folder as usual, but dragging these into photoshop is showing them in black and white. Print-screen is also producing black screens when pasted into photoshop; it's almost like it's copyrighted or something.

Issue with Spyro

Hello everyone, i have been using ePSXe for some time to play games. I have just started trying to play Spyro Year Of The Dragon and when im using petes ogl plugin the loading screens bug out and go all weird, if im using the default plugin they are fine, but i get lower performance with the default plugin, this doesnt happen to any other games, any ideas?

Hello,

I used to use ePSXe for a long time years ago and I played Suikoden II on it and it was perfectly fine. I wanted to replay the classic game and I have done everything, but the game constantly stutters every few seconds. This causes the game to hiccup and cause the irregular non-smooth camera movements. When I changed my fps to stay at 50 to see what is going on in slow motion, I noticed the game would freeze for a half second every 5 seconds or so.

Hello,

Me and a friend of mine played Crash Bash through netplay several months ago on ePSXe 1.7.0 using this tutorial:
However, one day it just stopped working and didn't try looking into the problem until now.
We are using the same ISO, have the exact same plugins and settings. Using Cyberpad 1.4, we connect on a server with the lowest ping, I host the game and he connects as the client.

Hey everyone!!

Ive seen a similar problem listed on the forums before, but if anyones actually managed to fix it, theyve not said how!

So Ive got Parasite Eve 2, the USA version SLUS-01042. When you are in the square of akropolis tower, and you walk onto the escalator, the game crashes. In ePSXe, the error is "SPEC Opcode 1c UNK (PC 00000080) (00000080) (random number) (random number). For people reading this, the random number bit is literally that.. the numbers change each time!
