Since so many people keep on making new threads regarding the same exact issue, spread across multiple games that have more than one disc, I decided to make a new thread all together so everybody have a chance to find out how to fix the issue and to minimize new threads that keeps filling the boards with the same dilemma, just in a different game.

ePSXe GPU Core is buggy

Games like Rayman show a strange black border at the bottom of the screen, and in Disney's Hercules the screen does not even show properly: when playing a level, it just shows a blank screen that changes color- the music plays fine. I have not yet found problems on other games because I simply haven't found the time to test them.

I could just use Peops soft plugin to circumvent the problem but the graphics quality just a direct downgrade which i am not satisfied with. I would really like to...

Subpixel precision hack causes massive inaccuracy in Gran Turismo 2

I apologise if this is posted elsewhere, but I have yet to find another topic pointing this out.

It appears that the subpixel precision hack causes fairly prominent graphical inaccuracies in GT2. For example, here is a screen shot with it turned off:

FF8 freezing

On my first playthrough of 8 in a long time, just got to timber and it keeps freezing at the part outside the tv station when deling goes to make his announcment, when it does so the emulator goes unresponsive, and whatever sound is occuring at the time loops or something(only reason i know this is because it first occured when the giant outdoor tv was putting out interference). I can't load any savestates when this happens, and my last one was before i got to timber(and got two energy crystals...

All games i emulate stutter

They play fine for a little while and then intermittently stutter, once every 6-7 seconds it starts stuttering then stops, plays smooth for a tad then stutters again.

I run a Desktop 980 GPU in a Laptop, i5 6600K @ 3.8ghz & 16GB DDR4

I can post my settings if need be, but changing my refresh rate to 30fps (To match vsynced 30fps games like silent hill, crash etc) doesnt help and no in-emulator settings has helped either

Infinite save screens in MGS

In Metal Gear Solid whenever I try to save or load the game, it just stays on the screen forever and nothing happens, I was able to successfully save in other games on espxe, such as Castlevania:Symphony of the Night. Without any issues, if anyone knows a solution to this, answers would be much appreciated.

Missing Textures in Chrono Cross

What it says in the heading.
I got fed up with the low-res default settings, so I started looking online for ways to improve it.
And I did. It looks great now. However, whenever I open the key items menu, the wood texture is nowhere to be found, and it's just the shadow with the items shown on it. This is with the Pete's plugin included in the default build. In addition, that yellow color on the spells you can use in battle when you hit that level just disappear instead of turning yellow....

I'm experiencing a problem playing FFVII on ePSXe 2.0 - in battles and menus wherever there are grey text boxes (yet not during dialogue scenes), the game slows down significantly - sound, input, animations, everything. I've noticed it on:
-Battle menus
-The main menu and submenus
-The "boost"/"finger on button" overlay during battles
-Scene transitions to and from the world map
-Introductory "Published by" and logo screens

ePSXe crashes when trying to switch disc

I DID rip these games legally.

I have the bin files for Metal Gear Solid(USA) disc 1 and MGS disc 2, and when I try to switch discs by hitting escape and going to File>change disc>ISO, the file selection dialog opens, and almost lets me select a file, but then it just crashes and says ePSXe has stopped working. After much googling I couldn't find anyone that had the same problems as me, so I created an account on here just to ask this. :rolleyes:

Final Fantasy IX - Cutscenes glitching

Hello! For a while now i've been playing through FF IX with no issue on ps3.
Recently, i decided to move my save file to my pc as it is more practical for me to play there and i started on disc 3 using epsxe. The problem is that when a cutscene shows up it starts glitching, showing weird random coloured lines in the midst of the scene, and then it auto skips for no reason.

Has anyone had this issue before? If so, how did you solve it? Thanks in advance!

Nascar 98 Button Combos Do Not Work

Hello,

The last time I played Nascar 98 on my PS2 even though it is a PS1 game I could use the so-called cheat code of R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 to get the Paintball Mode activated after the start of a race at the "Race Statistics" screen. But no matter what button combination I try in this ePSXe Emulator on my PDP Afterglow PS3/PC Controller has no effect to get the engine rev sound associated with this code being entered. Now, I know all the controller's buttons are all working as they do perform...

Problems with ePSXe 2.0 and Jade Cocoon

Hey all, I've just gotten the ePSXe version 2.0 to try and play Jade Cocoon (Which I have 2 hard copies of in CD ROM form) because my PlayStation2 died and no longer will read the discs or function.

However when I try and play the game the video is very clipped/jerky and the audio is stuttering. I have no idea how to get a smooth gameplay experience and I don't want to drop 100$ on a PlayStation 3 for one game or to pay for having my PS2 repaired.

I've got this game freezing sometimes at specific points on the track or just randomly, usually on the final lap which is really annoying. The picture freezes and the sound is caught in a short loop. I don't understand what's causing it, I almost got halfway through the game before this started so I think I've changed a crucial setting somewhere but I don't know what. Maybe you'll see something obvious. I hope.
